League Teams

Foxes FC have a number of league teams from U7 to U14 years of age. Our teams compete in three West London leagues: Middlesex Youth Football League, Harrow Combinations League and the Harrow Youth Football League. All league teams from the U7 to U11 age groups play development matches, which is in line with the FA rules. Our U12 - U14 age groups play competitive league matches.

Our league team’s training takes place on every Saturday morning, 10am - 12pm at Hyde Park in term time from September to July.

All teams have a dedicated coach who will work alongside the team throughout the season. The training sessions will be structured around the club’s coaching philosophy designed to develop the players technically, physically, socially and tactically.

Foxes FC coaches train their players using the Long Term Player Development Strategy (LTPD) – which is backed up by research from Europe’s most renowned youth football academies (e.g. Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Ajax). This strategy proposes a mastery-oriented focus on the development of young football players.

Midweek Training

Foxes FC midweek training sessions are delivered every Tuesday and Thursday in term time as outlined in the Foxes FC calendar. The midweek training sessions are optional to attend, and must be booked separately at an additional cost, by contacting us.

Matches will take place on Sundays during term time from September to May as outlined in the Foxes FC calendar. In line with league norms, all match details will be confirmed on a week-by-week basis. The match details will be posted on the League Team Fixtures page and emailed to parents by Wednesday, in preparation for Sunday.

League Formats

In line with FA guidelines, our teams from U7 - U11 will play in Development Leagues. This means that there is no league table or results published and that matches are played to focus on player development, rather than to win at all costs.

In contrast, our U12 - U14 teams will play in competitive leagues wherein league tables and results are published.

All of our teams will play in competitive cup tournaments throughout the season in order to ensure that an element of healthy competition remains.
