League Teams

Foxes FC offers competitive football training, designed to take young players' football skills to a higher level with regular training, masterclasses, and most importantly, enabling our U12-U14 teams to participate in regional competitive leagues giving them valuable exposure and definitive experiences. Our U7 to U11 league teams play development matches, in line with FA rules.

Our teams compete in three West London leagues: Middlesex Youth Football League, Harrow Combinations League and the Harrow Youth Football League.

We recommend that our players take advantage of the full spectrum of development opportunities offered across our programmes so they can practise as much as possible to develop to their full potential, building strength, stamina and skill mastery.

Our league teams’ training takes place on every Saturday morning, 10am - 12pm at Hyde Park in term time from September to July.

All teams have a dedicated coach who work alongside the team throughout the season. Training sessions are structured around the club’s coaching philosophy designed to develop the players technically, physically, socially and tactically.

Foxes FC coaches train their players using the Long Term Player Development Strategy (LTPD) – backed up by research from Europe’s most renowned youth football academies (e.g. Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Ajax), advocating a mastery-oriented focus.

Midweek Training

Foxes FC midweek training sessions are delivered every Tuesday and Thursday in term time as outlined in the Foxes FC calendar. The midweek training sessions are optional to attend, although highly recommended as practice pays off and elevates performance, enabling our boys to become better football players. This must be booked separately at an additional cost by contacting us.

Matches take place on Sundays during term time from September to May as outlined in the Foxes FC calendar. In line with league norms, all match details are confirmed on a week-by-week basis. Match details are posted on the League Team Fixtures page and emailed to parents by Wednesday, in preparation for Sunday.

League Formats

In line with FA guidelines, our teams from U7 - U11 play in Development Leagues. This means that there is no league table or results published and that matches are played to focus on player development, rather than to win at all costs.

In contrast, our U12 - U14 teams play in competitive leagues wherein league tables and results are published.

All of our teams play in competitive cup tournaments throughout the season to maintain an element of healthy competition.
