Foxes Fives League

The Foxes Fives League is an exciting 5-a-side after-school football league in Kensington, Holland Park School (W8 7AF) on Friday evenings from 5pm during school term for all children aged 6-12. Players can join a team and challenge themselves against other teams in a round robin league, so they get to play all other teams at least once, with points awarded depending upon results.

Matches take place on a state of the art astroturf with floodlights and last for 40 minutes, officiated by our FA licensed coaches. It is open to all (including football players both inside and outside Foxes FC), just come down with your team or join a team.

This is great play on a Friday evening after school, starting at 5pm, so players can unwind after school, have something to look forward to, and get some healthy, competitive fun. Players can actively socialise, developing character and football skills.

Players can create their own team, create their own team names and decide upon a Foxes FC kit of their own choice of colour. The choice and creativity is for them to enjoy.

Teams and players need to sign up for each term in order to participate. Each team can have a maximum of 8 registered players, with a maximum of three substitutes.

At the end of the term, the team that finishes in 1st place will be crowned champions with a team trophy and members will receive their own individual trophy. Everyone who participates will receive medals.

Autumn League Champions & Teams

Foxes Fives League is back into play after a fun autumn season where we had the following teams participating: the Deadly Daggers, Dragons, Dream Team, Ultimate FC Reds, Ultimate FC Yellows, Foxes Reds, and Foxes Whites.

The Dragons won the league with remarkable grit, determination and performance, and received a team trophy and individual trophies. Foxes Reds were the close runner-ups, having kept The Dragons on their toes. Medals were awarded to everyone for their outstanding participation and development.

We saw impressive teamwork, tenacity and skills development come into play across all teams, with keen eyes on the league table scores.

Spring term: 11th January 2019 - 22nd March 2019 (11 week season, no matches will be played during half-term on Friday 15th February & Friday 22nd February 2019)

For this season's sign-up, teams and single players can still register, however we advise doing this as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Small teams in 5-a-side football allow for more interaction with the ball, enabling greater skills development and intensity levels. Aerobic exercise enables muscle development, improving general health, fitness and stamina.

Foxes Fives is the perfect complement to our football development training sessions at the Little Foxes Club and Foxes FC as they can apply and consolidate skills learnt from their training in dynamic match play.
